Have a 3D model made here on quote: describe what you want, with a sketch, photo or dimensions, and our modeller turns it into a print-ready 3D model. You get a price first, two revision rounds are included, and afterwards we print it if you want. No file, or the AI designer cannot get there? Then this is the way.

These terms apply to design requests submitted through your Huedcast account. Our general terms apply to everything else. Where they conflict, these design terms take precedence, but only for the design work itself.
You describe what you want made. We create a 3D model of it, suitable for printing with us. You do not need to supply a file or use any design software.
A design request is not an order. We assess the request and send you a quote with a price and an indicative lead time. An agreement is formed only once you accept that quote.
The price for design work is separate from printing costs and is quoted separately. We begin design work after you approve the quote.
You may include reference images, sketches, photographs and descriptions. The clearer your input, the better the result.
You confirm that you are entitled to share this material with us and that we may use it for your commission. We do not verify this.
We do not model protected characters, logos, brands or other third-party works without demonstrable permission from the rights holder. We also do not model functional weapons or their components, or anything we consider unlawful or offensive.
If a request turns out to fall into these categories after work has started, we stop and invoice the time spent up to that point.
Every design commission includes two revision rounds.
A revision round is one bundled set of comments on one version delivered by us. Separate comments arriving one after another on the same version count together as a single round, as long as we have not yet started making the changes. Once we have started a round, any further set of comments counts as a new round.
Additional revision rounds are charged at the rate stated in your quote.
A change that materially alters the commission, such as a different subject, a different intended use or a substantially different size, is a new commission rather than a revision. We will discuss this with you first.
There are two situations, and it matters which one applies.
When we design from scratch, based on your description, photos or sketches, the following paragraphs of this article and article 7 apply. When we rework a model you supplied yourself or created with the AI designer, the last paragraph of this article and article 8 apply, and the paragraphs before it do not.
Copyright and all other rights in a model we create from scratch remain with us. You are buying the design work, not the file.
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to have the model printed by Huedcast without limit, in any quantity and at any time. You do not receive the source file unless you purchase the buyout option.
We may reuse, adapt and offer such a model as our own product, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Reworks. When we rework a model you supplied yourself or created with the AI designer, the whole, including our changes, remains yours. We do not sell it as our own product and do not use it for other customers. What you buy with a rework is our work, not a licence to your own model. You receive the reworked model as a file; article 7 does not apply.
This article only applies to designs we create from scratch. If you want that file itself, you can purchase it for an additional fee. We agree that fee per commission.
After buyout you receive the model in a common file format and may use it freely, including with other printers. We will no longer offer that model as our own product. This does not cover work we had already developed independently.
A model you create with our AI designer is yours. You paid for it with your credits, supplied the photos or wrote the prompt, and you decide what happens to it. We claim no rights in it.
You can download the model in a common file format: the GLB with colour and texture, and the STL without colour for printing. You may use it freely, including with other printers and commercially.
The file is as our AI model made it: watertight and fine to print yourself. We have not scaled it to a target height or checked it for any printer other than ours, and we do not guarantee that it is suitable for another process, another size or another printer.
We keep such a model so you can have it printed again, and we do not use it as our own product or for other customers. That storage is a convenience for you, not a restriction: it has no bearing on what you do with the file yourself. If you want us to delete it, let us know.
If you have us rework such a model, the paragraph on reworks in article 6 applies: the whole remains yours.
We may use images of the finished model to show our work. If you prefer we did not, tell us when you submit the request or before delivery, and we will not.
Stated lead times are indicative and run from your approval of the quote. Time spent waiting for your feedback does not count.
We design the model for the printing process and size stated in the quote. We do not guarantee that it is suitable for other processes, other sizes or other printers.
A custom design is made specifically for you. By accepting these terms you expressly request that we begin work immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the commission has been completed.
If you cancel partway through, we invoice the time spent up to that point on a pro rata basis.
We retain the material you supply and the model we create for as long as needed for the commission and any repeat prints. You may ask us to delete the material you supplied.
Our liability for design work is limited to the amount you paid for the design commission concerned.
