Terms & conditions
Version 0.5, updated 10 October 2026
How ordering, payment, delivery, withdrawal and our made-to-order printing work.
This is a translation of our Dutch terms and conditions. If the English and the Dutch text differ, the Dutch text prevails.
1. Who we are
Huedcast is a trade name of Ideale Diensten V.O.F.
- Ideale Diensten V.O.F., trading as Huedcast

2. Scope and definitions
These terms apply to every offer on huedcast and to every agreement you enter into with us. A few recurring terms:
- Catalogue product: a product from our range in a fixed configuration, that is a fixed variant in a standard colour that we offer.
- Made to your specification: a print that is created from your input. That is a 3D file you upload, a model generated with AI, a 3D scan of an object you provide, a model we design or correct on your instructions, or any other piece we make to your specification.
- Made to order: we hold no stock. Even a catalogue product is printed only after you order it.
3. Offer, prices and VAT
Prices are shown with the product, in euros and including VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately and calculated at checkout, before you confirm the order. An offer applies while it is on the site and while our stock of raw materials allows it. Obvious mistakes or typing errors do not bind us.
4. Order and the agreement
The agreement is concluded the moment we confirm your order. For an upload or an AI generation you indicate, when ordering, that you accept these terms and, where applicable, the licence statement shown at upload.
For an AI model, a scan or a model we corrected, you review the 3D model in the preview before you order it. Your approval there (the "I approve this model" checkbox or adding it to the cart) is your approval of the design as shown: shape, proportions and the size you chose. That approved design is what we print; differences between a photo and the model that were visible in the preview are not a defect.
Before production a modeller checks an AI model or a scan for printability. If we cannot print the model as you approved it, we contact you and you choose: an adjusted version, which you approve again in the preview, or a full refund of that part of your order (including the related shipping costs). If you do not choose within fourteen days of our message, we refund.
We may refuse or rescind an order for good reason, for example a suspicion of infringement of third-party rights, an unlawful or dangerous order, or a technically unprintable file. If we cancel an order that has already been paid on such a ground, we refund the amount paid in full.
5. Payment
You pay in advance, when you order, in euros, through our payment service provider Mollie. You pay with iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact and Pay by Bank. Which ones you can choose, you see at checkout. Paying later with Klarna is possible for prints; the terms of Klarna also apply to that.
Production of a print starts once your payment is confirmed; with Klarna once Klarna has approved your payment. Credits you buy are on your balance straight after payment.
Work by the design service is done on quotation: the price and how you pay are in the quotation, and we only start after you accept it.
6. Production, shipping and delivery
We print on our own machines, made to order. We ship to the Netherlands and to the countries of the European Union. Shipping costs and any free-shipping thresholds depend on the destination country and are shown at checkout; the amounts shown there apply, not an amount mentioned elsewhere.
Because every piece is made only after you order it, we work with an expectation rather than a hard delivery date. The current expectation is shown before you order, with the route you order through, on the Shipping and delivery page and in your order confirmation. If a production run runs late, we let you know.
7. Your files, designs and intellectual property
If you upload a file of your own, you declare that you hold the rights or a licence to have that file printed and that it contains no protected work of third parties. You confirm that declaration with the licence checkbox at upload, before anything can be added to your cart.
You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from a file you supplied. We may refuse an order that appears to infringe third-party rights, that is unlawful, or that concerns weapons or weapon parts.
Our own designs, texts and images remain ours. You buy a printed object, not the underlying rights. This does not apply to a model you create with the AI designer: that is yours. You may download it and use it freely, including with other printers and commercially; we claim no rights to it. Articles 9 and 9a apply to the use of the AI designer itself.
8. Right of withdrawal and the limit of custom work
8.1 Catalogue products: fourteen days to change your mind
For a catalogue product, that is a product from our range in a fixed variant and a standard colour, you have fourteen days to withdraw as a consumer. That period starts on the day you receive the product. Within it you may withdraw without giving a reason. The fact that we print that product only after you order it (made to order) changes nothing here: producing on order is not yet, in legal terms, custom work.
How you withdraw and how the refund works is set out on the returns page, including the model withdrawal form.
8.2 Work made to your specification: excluded from withdrawal
Work made to your specification is excluded from the right of withdrawal under Article 6:230p, opening words and part f, of the Dutch Civil Code: it concerns goods made to your specifications that are clearly personal in nature. Concretely, there is no cooling-off period for:
- a print of a 3D file you uploaded yourself;
- a model generated with AI or a 3D scan, once you have approved it in the preview;
- a model designed, scaled or corrected on your instructions, or for which you set the dimensions, height or a colour outside the standard range yourself;
- any other personalisation to your specification.
For this work the chosen input is fixed before we print and, for an AI model or scan, you approved it yourself in the preview (Article 4). If something goes wrong in production on our side, Article 10 applies; if our modeller rejects the model beforehand, the choice in Article 4 applies.
9. Wallet credits and AI generations
The AI designer runs on wallet credits. One credit stands for one standard generation; a premium generation costs four credits. Upgrading a standard generation to premium afterwards costs the difference: three credits.
- After you verify your email address you receive four free welcome credits, once, as long as the monthly cap on free credits has not been reached. Once that cap is reached, you receive no welcome credits.
- Extra credits are bought in advance as balance. Balance is a digital service; on purchase it is added to your balance after payment.
- When you spend a credit on a generation, you expressly consent to immediate performance of that digital service and, for that use, waive your right of withdrawal.
- If a generation fails on our side or at the generation service, the reservation is released in full and the net effect is zero credits; you are not charged for it.
- Credits expire 24 months after purchase; welcome credits 24 months after they are granted.
9a. Use of the AI designer and the studio
You use the AI designer and the studio for your own designs. We choose the model that makes your design; if that model fails, we may automatically use another model, at no extra cost. You may not:
- resell, rent out or make available to others access to the AI designer, the studio or the models behind them, or share your account with others;
- recreate the service or the models behind it, analyse them in order to copy them, or use output to train or develop your own AI model or a competing service;
- use the service in an automated way (for example with scripts, bots or scraping), or circumvent security measures and limits;
- use input that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others (such as portrait rights or copyright), or is harmful, misleading or criminal.
If you do, we may restrict your access to the AI designer and the studio or close your account. The generation services we use have their own rules; these provisions make sure we can comply with them.
10. Failed prints, conformity and guarantee
You are entitled to a product that conforms to the agreement. If a print arrives failed, damaged or not as agreed through a fault on our side, we put it right: we reprint the piece or refund the print price in full, without deducting any AI or generation costs. A reprint on this ground goes to the front of the queue.
Report a defect within a reasonable time after you discover it, by email and with a photo where possible. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain fully in force.
11. Complaints and applicable law
If you have a complaint, email info@huedcast.com. We respond within a reasonable time and look for a solution together. Dutch law applies to these terms and to every agreement.
12. Changes and final provisions
We may amend these terms. For an existing order the version in force at the time of ordering applies. If a provision is void or voidable, the remaining provisions stay in force and we replace the provision concerned with a valid one that approximates its intent as closely as possible.
