Privacy policy
Version 0.5, updated 10 October 2026
What we collect, why, who processes it for us, and how long we keep it.
This is a translation of our Dutch privacy statement. If the English and the Dutch text differ, the Dutch text prevails.
1. Who processes your data
The controller is Ideale Diensten V.O.F., trading as Huedcast, Bijsterhuizen 4019-006, 6604 LW Wijchen, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 89374843. For privacy questions, email info@huedcast.com or call +31 6 2992 2787.
2. Which data and what for
We process only what we need to run your order and your account:
- Order and address data (name, delivery address, email address, order contents): to create, ship and administer your order. Basis: performance of the agreement.
- Payment data: payment runs through Mollie; we receive the payment status, not your full card or bank details. Basis: performance of the agreement.
- Account and login data: to let you sign in and to show your orders and balance. Basis: performance of the agreement.
- Uploaded files: 3D files you supply for printing. Basis: performance of the agreement.
- Photos and text for the AI designer: the photos you upload (up to four) and an instruction if you give one, or, for a design from text, only your text. We process them to have a 3D model made from them, and we keep them with your design. Basis: performance of the agreement. Only upload photos you are allowed to use, and no photos in which other people can be recognised without their consent.
- Email correspondence: to answer your questions. Basis: legitimate interest (customer service).
- Waiting list: if you sign up for a waiting list (such as full colour), your email address, your language, the form you used and, optionally, what you are interested in. We use this to send you a confirmation email and, once you confirm, one message as soon as the subject of the waiting list is available. Legal basis: consent; you unsubscribe with the link in every email or by emailing us.
We do not sell data and we use no advertising pixels.

About the AI designer and the studio: we have the models made by fal.ai. For a model from another maker, fal.ai passes your input on to that maker; currently these are Hyper3D (Deemos) (Rodin 2.5, Rodin 2.5 Basic, Rodin 2.5 Fast) and Tencent (Hunyuan 3D 3.1 Pro). Which model makes your design depends on what you make and what you choose; if a model fails, we automatically try the next one on the list in article 3a. What goes there: your photos (fal.ai fetches them through a link to our own storage) and your instruction, or, for a design from text, only your text. Your name, your email address and your other account details are not sent. The finished model comes back as a file and we keep it in our own storage (Cloudflare R2).
Retention periods according to the parties' terms: fal.ai: 30 days by default (links to your photos and the result), according to fal's terms; Hyper3D (Deemos): 7 days in active systems, according to Hyper3D's own terms; Tencent: to follow.
With fal.ai, their public data processing agreement applies: under it, fal.ai processes your data as a processor, on our instructions. Hyper3D (Deemos) calls itself the controller of the processing in its own terms.
fal.ai is established in the United States, outside the European Economic Area; that transfer runs through the EU standard contractual clauses in their data processing agreement. For the makers, the country and transfer basis per party are in article 3a.
3a. Which models receive your photos
Which models the AI designer and the studio use depends on what you make; if a model fails, we automatically try the next one on this list. The list below follows our model register and changes when we switch a model on or off. Your name, email address and other account details are never sent. Before we store or forward a photo, we remove its metadata (such as EXIF and the GPS location). A model whose maker is known to train on input never receives customer photos.

4. How long we keep data
- Order data we keep for seven years; that is the statutory tax retention obligation.
- The wallet ledger (your credit transactions) we keep for as long as your account exists.
- Waiting list: a sign-up you do not confirm is deleted after 30 days. A confirmed sign-up is kept until you unsubscribe or until the subject is available and we have told you.
- Photos, instructions and models from the AI designer we keep with your design, so you can see it again and have it reprinted. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion period; you can ask us by email to delete them. For fal.ai and the model makers the periods in article 3 apply.
- Uploaded files we keep so that a reprint is possible. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion period set; you can ask us by email to delete a file. We will set a definitive retention period for uploads before launch.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to the processing, and to data portability. Send your request to info@huedcast.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
